Print Services Makes Sustainable Choices

UCSC Print Services currently uses 30% recycled paper for printing, and plans to go to 100% recycled paper in the near future.

Annual impacts of the use of 30% recycled copy paper:

• Saves 9,504 trees
• Saves enough energy for 73 homes/year
• Greenhouse gas emissions not released are the equivalent of 76 cars/year

Further details are available in the Annual Environmental Impacts Report. The research for the report is done by the Paper Task Force - a peer-reviewed study of the life-cycle environmental impacts of paper production and disposal. The underlying data is updated regularly.

We always stock recycled paper, high in post consumer waste content.

We use methods that reduce your environmental impact but increase your impact on the market.
