Estimates from Print Services Summary: Learn what information you must provide before an estimate can be completed, and read the terms for an estimate provided by Print Services. How Costs are DeterminedThe costs for our services are based on time and materials. To obtain an accurate estimate you must provide complete information about the job – including design, artwork, photographs, number of pages, ink and paper stock choices, bindery needs, output quantity, and your deadline. Print Services' pricing structure provides for quality work at competitive costs. Terms of an EstimateUsing the specifications provided by a customer, Print Services will complete a formal estimate, confirmed in writing, that is valid for 30 days. Check with Print Services before making any changes to your order, especially if your costs need to be capped at the estimate total. Changes in specifications, design or copy will be accommodated, but such changes may affect your job's cost and/or completion date. Your estimate may change with any changes in your order specification, or for orders submitted more than 30 days after the date of the original estimate. Print Services EstimatorJames Rambo, the Print Services Estimator, is available to give an estimate for your job's cost. Phone: 831-459-5620, Fax: 831-459-3899, printing_estimates@ucsc.edu James is available for phone or on-site consultation to discuss job specfications, or to make suggestions for improving product design or construction. In addition, James can help determine a realistic delivery date for your job and assist you in lowering your costs. Submit the Estimate with your OrderSubmit the written estimate from Print Services when you submit your order. If the job is unchanged, the price estimate will be honored.
